If everything works out, we haven't had a QB with as much athleticism since Stephan Starring from 1980-83. I sat in Arkansas State's stadium in 1980 and watched Stephan run for 234 yards against the Indians (an acceptable name back then). Yeah, I'm an old fart and go way back.
From looking at Daniel's video, Stephan had more speed but both can run or could run the ball well. Daniel can probably pass the ball better than Stephan could. Of course, we ran the veer option a lot back then and, when Stephan dropped back after faking running the veer, a lot of times the WR was wide open.
