I joined in about the last few minutes. Not sure how long it lasts but he sounds very very sad to leave. He said requesting a transfer from Snyder was one of the hardest things he's ever had to do and he's still "dealing with it."

Talked about how this was the first time in college that he's made a decision with himself in mind.

Matt Wooolters said that it would be up as a podcast after the show is over and available for download or stream or whatever on 1350kman.com. Coming up next I think they're going to have an interview with TT, who is "hoping to be an Atlanta Falcon!"

And basically what I heard of that interview tells me that everything we knew about Sams being adorable was true, and that anyone who thinks he's lazy or can't grasp the playbook or is a FP, TC, etc. can go eff themselves/is a racist piece of crap.

Based on what I know of the situation, he's probably gonna regret this decision at some point in the future and I'm still not convinced he's happy with it now.

TT calls Sams "one of my little brothers on the team."

TT was a little surprised at the transfer request because he always saw him in purple and grew into calling him "#LiFE."

Daniel's an athlete. He can make plays happen. (At WR) he was taking the strides and making the progress.

Said he wanted to be closer to his great grandmother who can't travel to see him play.He said leaving his teammates ,fans,and Manhattan in general was a hard decision and that it still hits hard.He felt like he wasn't at a high enough level to be a big 12 receiver.They asked him about his talk with Snyder about switching to receiver and he said if coach wouldn't tell them what was said then he wouldn't either.He sounded really sad guys. IHope he kicks ass wherever he goes

Yeah. Anyone who's not incredibly bummed right now can go right ahead and eff themselves. If for no other reason because Daniel is such a good dude who loves EMAW. Amazing to me that we would ever find such an elite natural athlete from somewhere else that loves the crap out of Manhattan and K-State and then we would not do absolutely everything in our power to make him happy.
