When Vegas is begging you to bet on one side, the other side is almost always going to win. So I feel confident we lose by less than 18!

if kstate wins the coin toss they better take the ball first and have a 7+min scoring drive

well, yeah.  shouldn't this be every team's strategy?

Any person who's not a moron knows we're not winning this game.  But, I can still be mildly content if 2 things happen:  1) Sams is our QB and he plays well, 2) Baylor scores less than 50 pts and we keep it within 2 possessions.

Baylor fan here with a few points.

1.) Please do not visit Baylorfans and think those imbeciles are indicative of most Baylor fans. They aren't. I'm convinced that most people there are actually trolls from other schools who get their jollies on acting like idiots. Most likely aggy. If you want a message board with folks who at least have a brain, check out www.bearstruth.com. It's a pay site, but most of the message board is free and open.

2.) Most intelligent Baylor fans, despite our performance thus far, are worried about Saturday. Maybe worried isn't the right word, more like uncertain. We know we haven't proven anything on the road yet, and it's not like you guys don't have talent. I'm confident in our offense, but crazy things can happen. Considering that we haven't played more than a half yet in any game, I'm concerned about what will happen when we do have to.

3.) I'll be in Manhattan this weekend. Anything I should visit? Anything I should steer clear of? TIA.

Looking forward to this weekend.

Steer clear of Aggieville and Rock-A-Belly Deli.

Downtown is where most of the action is, anyways.

speaking of imbeciles not indicative of most KSU fans, bypass Aggieville at all costs.  like Wabash said, downtown is great.  Westloop also has some nice restuarants.

The West side is really your safest bet, RebelT.

K-State's most respected sports writer and local Manhattan culinary critic, D. Scott Fritchen, has been giving the Powercat Sports Grill next to Max Fitness raving reviews.  You and your friends and family will really enjoy it.

Read more below.  Also, one of the things Manhattan is known for outside of our amazing football team is our equally amazing ice cream and milk shakes.  Have one for desert and you won't be dissapointed.  Thanks and best of luck!

Re: Ate at the Powercat Sports Grill tonight next to Max Fitness

The Powercat Sports Grill's menu has a lot of selections and awesome pizzas as well. And you can have a Call Hall milk shake for dessert. It's a very well put-together establishment. Atmosphere with all they did is hard to beat. I hope everyone that makes it to Manhattan gives it a try. I doubt you'll be disappointed with your experience.

I appreciate the heads up to avoid "Aggieville."

However, as a Baylor fan, I would never, under any circumstances, voluntarily support or visit an establishment named "Aggieville." I'm pretty sure it's in my genes that I can't and won't.

It's something akin to telling me "Hey, it might be a good idea to avoid the clap."

Nonetheless, I appreciate the warning.

i love aggieville, not sure what you losers do in westloop, visit little caesars?  gmafb.   i might not even LEAVE aggieville if i were baylor fan.  those guys don't get to drink in waco so aggieville will be a nice respite from their usual routine.

There are three truths in life:
Jewish people do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.
Protestants do not recognize the Pope as the leader
 of the Christian faith.
Baptists do not recognize each other in aggieville.

Don't listen to this guy, RebelT. He's only 18. You won't see anyone over the age of 25 in Aggieville.

How can Baylor's home field advantage be that great? Doesn't their stadium hold like 15,000? RebelT, can you confirm?

45,000 with the tarp on.
50,000 without.

New place will hold 45,000 and will be expandable to 55,000.

With WVU bringing very little of the crowd we had 45,467 last game.
