SAMs "fumble"

Play of the game.  We go up two scores and we can run SAMs rest of game.

Seriously they should just do away with replay.

Agreed. Absolute absurdity. One of many tipping points. But totally in the hands of the crap refs.

It was close, on the replay. At least to being irrefutable. The real mistake was made on the field.

He was down...no doubt about it. Do replay officials get paid? It's there one job and they can't do it correctly. I don't understand

It was a complete crap call on the field and in the replay booth especially.  But Steffy, how would getting rid of replay changed the outcome on that?

It wouldn't; but I can live with mistakes made in real time.

Why is that?  In this case, since the screw up was made both on the field and in the replay booth, we (ksu fans) have more of a right to complain about it than if there were no replay.  However, since replay more often than not ensures the correct call was made, why is that a bad thing you would want to go away?  Makes no sense either way.

Good point; getting screwed on replay gives us more of a right to complain.  Great argument for keeping it; I can't believe I had never considered that.

Yep.  They never correct mistakes using it.  Never happens.  Definitely should just scrap it because your bad person is righteously sore over calls that aren't overturned.  Get 'em Steffy.  More mistakes are better, because they're the kind that are easier to live with and thus our assholes are less sore about it.  Less bad person pain versus greater overall accuracy.  No competition.

I asked you two questions in my last post, and you answered neither of them.  To address the "more of a right to complain" argument more fully, I am glad it was reviewed because that stoppage of play allowed them to show it multiple times on TV and the announcers to both agree that it should definitely have stayed KSU's ball.  Everyone watching it on TV had no doubt we got screwed over.  If there were no stoppage of play, people would have more easily forgotten about it and fewer replays shown.  If there was bias involved, there is now much more of a case to prove that, and the Big 12 Supervisor of Football Officials may have to issue a statement addressing it.  It won't change the outcome of this game, but anything to help eliminate future errors like that would be a good thing, no?

I'm on team Steffy here.  Replay is here to get a blown play on field right.  If it can't, why have it?

I was proud of LHC Bill Snyder for not being like a giant baby like dumb dumb Rhodes in his post game. Crappy play, not poor officials, are the reason we lost.

It isn't an either/or.  If we were better, or if we get that call, we win.

Will agree, though, that from the team's perspective you have to focus on poor play, becsuse that is all thàt you can control.  Snyder very good about thát.
