Oh boy...

Jake Waters ?@Jwaters15_GLA 1h

After watching Coach Rhoads talk after the game I can see why those players lay it all on the line for him. I respect him so much.

It's about time someone starts up a "Stuff Waters Does That Makes Him Hard To Like" master thread. Tindering in class, his Sandusky themed fantasy team name, being a turnover machine, and praising Paul Rhoads are all signs of being a pretty disgusting human being.

On Soren Petro he did his "2 Minute drill" and talked to some dork in Des Moines. Not sure the exact quote but it was basically:

"Is Paul Rhodes going to feel the heat from the administration after this season?"
"No, if anything, they support him more than ever. And the fan base is really behind him after his press conference last night."

So, so wonderful.

A lot of Nebraska fans want ku in the Big 10 and they'll roll out all kinds of kind words about why.   But the real reason is that they just want an easily accessible place to go watch the Corn play football.

Rhodes' rant was on the CBS Natonal News this morning, the anchor said ISU has now lost 11 straight conference openers. I don't care enough to fact check but  :horrorsurprise:  :'bye cruel world: if true

Just checked and it is correct, they haven't won a conference opener since 2002. In that time frame they have only spent 5 total weeks above .500 in conference play. Conference record of 27-64. If we went winless from 2002-2006 we would match that record.

They're okay with this and this is the garbage that steffy wants us to associate with.

How long has Paul had that majestic beard?  Is that common in Iowa?

Yeah, so nevermind.  They agree with Rhodes or whatever and so now it just means tucks have more stuff in common with Jake.

Has there been a more Iowa State'y player in KSU's history than Jake Waters? I mean:

-from rough ridin' iowa
-is a turnover machine
-looks like an iowan
-makes HUR HUR HUR HUR fantasy football team name
-uses tinder
-is a loser in the classroom
-runs terrified, finishing move is the curl in a ball and roll "forward"
-is a loser on the football field (including a very iowa state'y loss to a D2 school)
-loves paul rhoads
-all this and he still has the iowa state'y portion of our fanbase loving him similar to ISU's love of paul rhoads

How did Paul miss on this guy? Not offer him?

Why are so many people so certain that that was a fumble? From what I saw on the replay, there was not 100% indisputable evidence that the RB wasn't down. I just don't get what everyone else is seeing.

Maybe Rhodes just didn't want him. That crappy QB that was running their offense against Texas looked better than Jake has all year.

You never can see when the ball changes hands. You can see when Gray's knee goes down, though, and at that point, the ISU player with the ball is already at about the 10 yard line running for the endzone.

I just watched this frame by frame. I wish I had the technology to share this HD screen cap I have. The still I'm looking at has Gray's entire right leg, from the thigh down on the ground while the LB that stripped him, 52, is still engaged with Gray. UTs fullback and the ISU LB who made the strip are completely obscuring the ball from the camera so you can't tell who is in possession. It isn't until several frames later that you can definitively see 52 with the ball.

The replay official absolutely made the correct (no)call.

This is similar to what I saw too. I just don't understand what everyone else is seeing.
