the mocat ranking system does not take into account the age of the QB or recruiting rankings, or any data from 2012, or pre-season rankings, etc.
it's just based on what's taken place on the field in 2013.
penn state has a good defense, has beaten a decent Syracuse team, dominated two garbage MAC teams, and lost by 3 to a good/very good UCF team. and they're probably going to beat Indiana next week. you could be right though, and they will probably slide down the rankings as they play more good teams
