I dismiss anyone who uses the term race card as a bigot. Its impossible to use that term in an enlightened manner.

Oh bull. How can you not use that term in situations when you're simply talking political issues (for example) and certain people regularly say that the only reason why you (or others) don't like a particular policy is because the person leading the charge on said policy is a minority. It's a flat cop out, and I often refer to it as a variation of Godwin's Law (the point in certain discourse when someone gets called a Nazi). In those cases, no other term applies.
Even in that case you present, you are dismissing what someone else sees or feels without any other evidence to the contrary. It is always used when race relations are discussed and one person doesn't like what the other has to say without giving one thought as to why someone would feel that way. Steffy08's usage here is the perfect example. Instead of considering the very real possibility that some people don't want Sams to play because he's competing with a white qb, just completely dismiss it as someone using the race card. Its lazy and if you are using the term you should stop, you're much smarter than that.
