Save your points and fly dfw to mhk.  You wont wont regret it.  Just take an uber from airport to kites.

Welcome bu_alumn_11!

The first thing you should know is that tailgating is an event inof itself. The best place to get your tailgating gear is HyVee, they have the best selection in town.

Secondly do not go eat at Aggie Station, they have had multiple health code violations recently and just to confirm, Kites is a can't miss spot.

Third, make sure and yell EPAW to everyone at the game, you will get a bunch of high fives and be welcomed with open arms.

Lastly if you get a chance go get a pickled egg from The Lou in Aggieville. It's on the same street as Kites and trust me, you won't regret it.

Great suggestions for good meals.  If you want booze at other locations, our county is otherwise dry. Have to bring  and sneak your own beer or liquor. And don't even think about imbibing in the stadium lots because the cops will jail you. Zero tolerance. Have fun. And welcome to KSU.

Welcome to K-State. Just line your pockets with plastic bags and save tailgate offerings.

Hey everybody,

My dad and I are coming in for the BU/KSU game on 11/5. We're both pretty hesitant to go to road games (we've had our hearts broken many times before), but a Thursday night in Manhattan seemed too cool to pass up. We're really, really excited to come!

We've never been to Manhattan before, so we have no idea what we're doing. We're flying in to Wichita from Dallas Love Field Thursday morning and flying back out Friday morning (thanks to our Southwest points). I have two main questions:
1) Which sections are the visitor sections? I've looked around online and seen some conflicting reports.
2) Where's the one place we have to eat in Manhattan?

Thanks in advance for your help! We can't wait to be there.

1) Scattered, but the majority are around Sec. 18-19.
2) So Long Saloon or Taco Lucha. (both in Aggieville, can't go wrong with either)

You will have fun. Some good advice in this thread. You will have to sort through it to figure it out. Ask everyone you meet if they are on goEMAW. Those that are will be really cool. Those that aren't are probably dumbasses and will act all friendly but will be giving you the evil eye behind your back. Probably won't hurt you, but the evil eye has been known to inflict some brief emotional bruising.

I've tried and am just not seeing it. Also, I had a bunch of classes with Ms. Mendenhall. Nice lady. EPAW (every pet a wildcat) is really catching on now. Pretty cool.
