Haven't been in awhile.  Never had a bad time at a RenFest though.

I had a good friend who was a performer for the faire and did it for a couple of years.  Said it was fun to raz people with the Old English speak.  We haven't been friends since.  Made me question a lot about myself as well..  :whistle1:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

KC's is solid.

Had a blast.  Did the queens's tea, hit up the jousting show, knocked back a load of Guinness, brats, fried cheese and pickles, great times.

Love the throngs of chicks dressed like mid evil whores or whatever....a great family event!

If you ever find yourself in KC in the fall, I will take you.  What else do we have to do on the weekend in the fall (anymore) ????

I can't believe you didn't have a turkey leg.  I looked up images after Dlew mentioned them.  That's number one on my list if I go to one.

I find the turkey leg to be quite lordly and not gross.

I gave it a run!

I almost went with the Turkey leg...but the kids think they are gross (their stupid ketchup covered fries are really what's gross!!!!!  STUPID KIDS!)

If you are a true badass veteran, you have a wooden mug that you carry around with you and have refilled with booze.  I think that they give those pro's a bigger draft pour, but I can't prove it.  I do not have one.  They cost a bunch.  I just drink out of the plastic cups like a stupid tourist nobody.

So many chicks show up dressed like midevil whores, it's remarkable.  Like whore versions of gypsies, fairies, pirates,  etc...   It's like Halloween (which I also obviously love the crap out of).

Guys, I worked there directing traffic when 14 and 15.  I have seen the seedy underbelly of this place and dispel any and all that needs it.  Have questions?  Shoot.

I was particularly pissed at the Ren Fest folks for jamming up I-70 and all the other ways to get west of I-70/K-7 on Friday evening.
