Is Sams a ball hog?

Does he not realize that it's easy for opposing defenses to stop our offense when he keeps the ball on every play?

Not sure where you're going with this but there's already enough Snyder is a dumbass for not letting Sams throw threads.

He IS permitted to audible.  If I was his coach and he kept rough ridin' up the audibles, I'd probably sit his ass in the second half, too.

Good thing you're not the coach then.

Let's try this.  MAYBE SAMS' LACK OF PLAYING TIME IS MORE HIS FAULT THAN PEOPLE WANT TO ADMIT.

And it's probably not considering Snyder did this with Roberson, Meier, Coffman, etc.

This.  He looked pretty rough ridin' good throwing the ball at spring game though.  Might be worth letting him do it in a real game.  What's the worst that could happen, we still lose to NDSU and Texas?

From the dementia quote:

Quote
Daniel (Sams) did a nice job when he was in the ballgame. If you go back and look, I think the big play was when he threw for the touchdown which was a nice decision on his part

There's no "I" in "team," Mr. Sams.

Lets get this straight. The defense Sams was throwing against in the spring game was complete garbage. Even our first string D sucks compared to other teams. I seem to remember collin Klein throwing for 300yards in the 2012 spring game.

It was the same defense Waters was throwing against.

I wondered if he is being instructed to just run the ball.  That limits him and he is nothing but... well a "Wildcat QB".  Let's face it, Sams is either showing in practice that he cannot be trusted in even optioning the ball or the coaching staff is inept.  K-State cannot continue the vanilla offensive scheme (even for Waters).

The coaching staff is inept.  That's why they're 2-2 instead of 4-0 under Coach gE.

Is that why we're running a check with me offense?

The fact that we won't throw it with Sams limits his abilities to succeed. Stack the box. Rinse and repeat.

interesting theory I guess. but you'd think at this point the coaching staff would've told him that he needs to check into more passing plays if he wants more snaps and that would be enough to get his attention.
"Son. This is why we are wildcats. Hard work, pride, the heart of this country. And if that's not enough for you, you can just move to California with your punk friends."
