Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Does this open the door for his return as Voice of the Cats?

i'm still surprised at the speed with which bo has been redeemed.

he literally said "eff you" to the fans.

In his defense, he was totally talking behind their backs and never intended for them to actually know how much he despises and wishes bad things upon them.

it is really weird and hilarious. they are rallying behind him on his telling them to eff off and making him the victim.

Could have never imagined this reaction.  I thought they would crucify Bo, instead they are rallying behind him and seeking to crucify the leaker.  Is there any explanation for this?

The emails to deadspin sort of eliminate that possibility. It appears to be some dude from the production company that UNL uses/used.

Really it could be anyone.  Like what if some guy involved with the sports radio station there went to a huskerPAK and drunkenly started telling stories of what happened and just giving away stuff that could make everyone look like crap later if the PAK guests decided to put it out there when they were mad about something?

(it's @fanning)

Quote
About 35 minutes after we published Pelini's rant, we heard from a different source who asked us not to disclose his name. This second source—who made it clear he is not the same person as our original source—told us he had learned a recording of Pelini's rant may have been out there back on Oct. 10, 2011, just two days after it was recorded. The second source said he first heard about it from someone who had talked to someone "within NRG media." About a year ago, our second source said, he was given a redacted transcript of what Pelini said on the the recording, which he shared with us:

NRG media is a media conglomo company in Cedar Rapids, IA

I meant that a fanning-ish episode could've happened there and a Trim-ish or MIR-ish person (obviously w/o a gE-ish thing of their own to put it on) could've gotten the stuff and sent it to a deadspin-ish (in this case, deadspin) site.

When an entire university appears to be an afterthought (apologies to certain spousal units) built around a 20 story tall football stadium, you know the leaker(s) are probably going to die for their sins.
