These guys got fired because there was pot at a party that they attended?

They said that Police took Carl and the DC out of the office.  Now, that could be an escort so that Carl doesn't go all Pelini on the facilities on the way out.

If he worked at Colorado, would he have been fired?

Prob depends on the details that we don't know yet.

Let me rephrase: "If he worked at Colorado, would the official reason he got fired be different?"

Probably at least slightly different.

Quote
And finally, ditch the sense of entitlement about being the greatest fans in college football just because a sign on the outside of the stadium says we are. It does not give us license to act like dicks.

We expect so much of our coaches, our administration and our players. And we accept SO LITTLE from ourselves as fans. Buying a beer for an Illinois fan or politely applauding an opposing player does not buy you Fan Karma Points that you can use to justify a shitty, snarky attitude about the program. Being nice to people when they visit our stadium is just a baseline expectation of human decency. Don’t applaud yourself for it. Just do it. “Execute,” as a fan. Be supportive, loud, consistent. If you feel the need to criticize, do it the right way, and at the right time. You know, like an adult would.
Is there a more "Nebraska" statement that could ever be said?

he wants back in
His bro can't hire him since he is fighting for his own job. Who else is going to hire him? He has to try to get back in. He needs money to support his gay habit.

No way in hell.  He is just mad he resigned and gave up his claim to his contract money.  Now he is trying to go back and still get paid.

Visited HuskerBoard to see how those poor losers responded to the Cats kicking the ass of their fellow conference mate. I can report Corn fans seem to have mostly worked through the requisite seven emotional stages about the death of their program. Sure there's still some denial and anger, but for the most part they've arrived at the acceptance phase -- they suck and their conference sucks.
They could have spared us so much drama had they been able to get there earlier without the bargaining stage that landed them in the big 10.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Most are sad they left the BigXII and want back in.

Still a decent amount of Texas jealousy in there.

Why do they keep talking about Texas's "Stacked Deck"?
