The audacity to suggest the rough ridin' conference commissioner as your replacement as AD of a school in the conference.

Jesus.

They really are bad asses.

Their 10 hour a month elderly consultants salary will be at least double our AD's own salary.

I suggest KSU hire Richard Branson when Currie leaves.

And he has to travel everywhere by hot air balloon.

This is going to be amazing to watch/read about.  This will be my new soap opera.  Texas is so glorious.  Jesus, they are probably sitting around a table wondering whether to offer a record salary to Belichick or Saban.

They don't even give a crap about basketball, but I bet they are tossing around names like Bill Self, Billy Donovan, and Thad Matta.

It was a hell of a run for the rest of the Big XII though. Pete you think maybe they'll try to reassemble the '95 Cats coaching staff? Snyder/Stoops/Stoops/Leavitt/Venables/Mangino and maybe throw in Urban Meyer and Pete Carroll and like Marty Schottenheimer or something on top?

Hmmmmm, like the Schottenheimer idea for DC, but I am thinking Bill Cowher for HC, at $9M per year.

I am serious about Cowher.

Think about it, college coaching is great, but recruiting is a pain.  However, at UT you could be the laziest recruiter in the world and be top 10 every year.

It's probably the best coaching job in America, in any sport, pro or otherwise.

Yeah he could just hire stud assistants to recruit for him, and when the stud recruits tour the badass facilities he could pass them in the hall and show him his super bowl ring and say "Please come play for Texas" and they would.

What they eventually assemble for football, basketball, and baseball will be a who's who of all stars.

It's like this is what all of this realignment money grab has all built towards...

I have very high expectations.
