How is KU not still in this tournament?

As I was watching the other NCAA games over the last couple of days, I was thinking that other than KSU, Kentucky and Baylor, it's a bunch of mediocre teams is all that's left.

So I also got to thinking: How in the world did KU manage to lose in the second round against this field?  The Hawks had a team that was primed to waltz to the NC -- a senior pointguard, an experienced center and great size all over the roster.  I mean, that's the recipe for a championship right there.  The #1 team for most of the year.  Now most of that will be gone next year.  To quote Dave Armstong, "Wow."  I just gotta shake my head at the fact they lost in Round 2.  You have to feel for the Hawks over this epic wasted opportunity.
