It's probably obvious but what evidence found at the scene indicates the accident occurred September 3rd?

Maybe the EDR/black box.

Horrible.  Not the ending we all expected.  Hopefully the family gets some privacy, but as public as this was I'm sure many will be asking about the motive and what was found that pointed to the event happening a day after he was reported missing.

Whoa that's sad and crazy. This is in the San Rafael Swell, which is a dangerous and weird highway to say the least. It has a lot of blind curves and odd entry/exit to rest areas. I almost got hit by a wrong-way driver in the same place a few months ago. Still seems odd that she had no idea he was in Utah?
