I mean, is there a rulebook on how long you have to wait before trying to reestablish a sense of normalcy? Maybe she thinks that she's going to alienate by constantly being sad?  Maybe, heaven forbid, she needed to inject some humor into her life. I don't know. Yes, it was IMO unusual, but jesus. yeah. i was getting hammered and cracking jokes the night of my mom's funeral. i don't think there is a "right" way to handle "this". whatever "this" is. hope all works out well for her and everybody involved in the end.

Given the context, she was absolutely more out of line. But it's her missing husband and twitter feed and marriage luck, she can do what she wants.

especially considering that the first person authorities look at when questionable things like this happen is the spouse.

I stand by my original post that her EMAW'ing was cool. Obviously joking around on twitter is a defense mechanism and I'm sad this happened to that family. 1 of the sons was a member of the POWL during my time, he's quality dude. Hope it turns out ok.

She should tweet about what's known and clues and stuff, so that people could maybe help or keep their eyes out for something rather than just T'n & P'n her.  I guess she could then throw in the occasional topical humor to keep people on their toes.

I kind of enjoy speculating as to what might have happened to this woman's husband?  Hell, we've got about 100 pages speculating on why Snyds isn't starting Sams and I've never met either one of those guys. 

I think she killed him, personally.  Probably chained to a cinerblock at the bottom of Tuttle, if I had to guess.
