Absurd. Using this logic shouldn't everyone have KSU or OSU 1st? I'm guessing like none of you have seen ISU play, Iowa pounded them. They have a fair number of fans who rightfully think they won't win a game this season.

Since KU last won a conference game:
1. OU = 18 + 1 Big 12 Champ game win
2. K-State = 15
3. OSU = 14
4. Baylor = 10
5. Texas = 9
6. Tech = 7
7. ISU = 6
8. KU = 0

For this year, switch Baylor/K-State and Texas/Tech with TCU between and WV behind. 1-3 seem like they're the top, 4-6 in the middle, then Texas and 8-10 at the bottom.

I think ISU will beat KU this year, but only because it's in Ames.  And I think it'll be close.  If it was Lawrence, I'd have KU by 10+. 

That said, ISU is the worst team in the conference.

i doubt they'll take ku.  they didn't even want mizzou (who draws a lot more tv sets).  i know they took NU, but that was and still is a headscratcher.

I don't buy KU as a legitimate big 10 candidate at all.  They don't need or even care about KU's basketball and they bring absolutely nothing else to the table.

I think that the Big 10 is working to create a "balanced scorecard."

Each school they have grabbed has at least one great feature.  Now, NU may (probably) prove to be a huge mistake.

KU is a great add for them, if they want to bolster basketball.  That is the only reason to even consider KU.  They bring nothing else. 

If big 10 want to diversify across sports, KU is a great add.
