There are a TON of posters on this board who don't know football, not a damn thing. I'm serious when I say that. A majority of this board expected a blow out. And then when they didn't get it everybody is terrible. Not a single poster has stated anything about the caliber if opponent we played. And they just want to talk about how it's unacceptable to lose to a FCS.

Look, that team we played last night is at about their max potential. They won't get a whole helluva lot better through the season because all of these players have been together for several years. We had a new QB and an entire defense.

All of that said, we looked fantastic 36 minutes into this game. We had a 2-TD lead and they had roughly 140 yrds of offense.

Our talent is not as bad as many on here are now saying (the irony of the is most of the same people thought we would be awesome in game 1) and things will get a lot better.
NO?! :sdeek:

The loss would sting lots less if our starting qb didn't resemble Jason Biggs

I think there are a lot of people that believe the worst bcs team should still be better than the best fcs team, which is Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). it's not like the jump from college to the nfl. it's hard to judge but I would think that a national championship caliber fcs team should be able to hold their own against all but about the top 20 or so bcs teams. :dunno:

We are not fine.  We will not be ok.  This is the beginning of the end.  It is 2004.  Ertz will end up being Evridge

So we're going to lose to KU then. Sounds about right    :flush:

I really agree with Sys, here.  The only unit last night I was surprised about was the offensive line.

Guys, we are going to be ok. Everyone just needs to CTFD and quit being bitches. Yeah, it sucks, we got beat by a team we shouldn't have, but that's what happens sometimes. We are Cats guys. Good things happen for us. Come back next Saturday and cheer on the Cats like this never happened. Quit being whiny bitches and move on. I'm pissed too, and I deserve better than the shitshow I saw last night, but Cats, man. That being said, Go State, FTB, EMAW, etc...

That punt return was more on the punter than the coverage, really. He needed to put more air under the ball.

I was listening to the radio tonight and some national analyst (was on 610), started to say we'll be in the running for 1sr in the league.  Then quickley pulled the prediction down to 2nd or 3rd.  I knew ndsu would give us fits, but i feel too many outside the program are writing this off because snyder fixes everything.

I'm somewhat agree with sys. I think if the order of our non-conference games is UMASS, ULL, then NDSU, we beat NDSU by 10+. It just sucks how many guys were thrown out there for their first game ever and it was against a group of guys who have been playing together for 2 full Championship seasons.
