I love 11am road games*. Wake up around 10 from a night of bingeing, make coffee, eat breakfast, take a shower (maybe), and boom...game time!

*- This is only true if we win. Losing early games means I sulk around from about 2:30-10pm before making a sad trip to the Ville. This is followed by 4 hours of sad drinking and late night sad eating. We will beat ISU by 4 TDs so all of that is moot and this scenario is perfect.

If I lived within, I don't know, a 30 hour drive of a game I sure as crap wouldn't whine about having to wake up at the buttcrack of noon to make it to a game.

Michigancat, I know you're smart enough to figure out these ppl want a full weekend. They want to go out like rockstars on friday night, sleep in, and do it again the next day. Stop being a snob.

Really, 11 AM is too late for Farmageddon. The teams should just get to work as soon as the rooster crows.

set phone alarm for 10:55.  alarm goes off.  roll over and turn on tv.  watch first half in bed.  fall asleep probably 3 times.  watch second half on couch

Yeah.  11 am roadies are a pain in the ass.  If you don't agree then you haven't been to very many 11 am roadies.

BOOOOOOOO FUUUUUUCCCCKKKKINNNNNGGGGG HOOOOOOOO

What on Earth is wrong with you?  Does it really bother you that someone would state the obvious fact that the fan experience for that game is worsened for nearly everyone (including those of us with no plans to attend the game)?  It is fine to recognize that TV dollars and conference realignment and luxury suites are what are necessary to compete, but I will never understand the casual disdain for the vast majority of K-State fans that your statement (and many others like it) are repeated on here constantly.  And you are smart enough to understand why an 11am kick is inconvenient for many people that would like to attend the game and why it is a less desirable time for almost everyone else as well.

The fan experience is "worsened"? I can't imagine being faced with the horrifying options of a) waking up an hour earlier than normal or b) losing an hour of shotgunning Natty Light in a parking lot. T's & P's for those poor souls.

It is fine to recognize that TV dollars and conference realignment and luxury suites are what are necessary to compete, but I will never understand the casual disdain for the vast majority of K-State fans that your statement (and many others like it) are repeated on here constantly.

The vast majority of K-State fans can't easily go to every game (regardless of kickoff time) and are probably pretty happy that Farmageddon is on National TV, especially considering it wasn't too long ago that hardly any of the games were on TV even in Kansas. And my mocking KSU fans in peril because of an 11am kickoff for a football contest is fairly new, at least relative to how long I've been hearing about their tragic plight.

And you are smart enough to understand why an 11am kick is inconvenient for many people that would like to attend the game and why it is a less desirable time for almost everyone else as well.

Yes, I totally understand why people consider it inconvenient. Are you smart enough to understand why I think these people are incredibly whiny? I mean you can walk to the games from your house. If you need me to spell it out for you in more detail, I'd be happy to.
