Hanging out with 50,000 of your best friends on a crisp fall afternoom, air tense with excitement as your alma mater, the undefeated kansas state Wildcats, prepare for battle on the gridiron.

By the time kickoff rolls around these 50,000 people, farmers doctors accountants in their normal lives, have been transformed into a seething mob wanting nothing more than to see the opposing team CRUSHED under an onslaught of sound fundementals and timely playcalling.

2:30 left in the game and the katz are leading Oklahoma by 6. Blake Bell waits for the snap on a crucial 4th and 1 at KSU's 21 yard line. The noise is deafening,  cascading off the new West side press box and back down to the field. Bell can't hear a thing and is forced to burn his last timeout which only makes the crowd louder.

As the players return to the field the noise returns, you look 4 rows ahead and see a child wearing a collin Klein jersey screaming with rage, his father takes a swig of jack daniels and joins in the ruckus, 1 row back you can feel the spittle of farmer john as he unleashes another tirade of profanity in the direction of the field.

You turn to a friend and smile, a calm washes over your body as your vocal cords feel the strain of 47 minutes of strenuous work. As bell drops back to pass time stands still, the blitz is on and he doesnt have much time. You see the receiver streak open from the corner of your eye as bell lofts it to the endzone. Big game Bob decided tod go for the W on this play and it may work.

The seconds seem like hours as the ball slowly moves over the lineman amd towards the open reciever, a chance at a nation title hangs on this one pass. The ball hits the receiver sqaure in the hands when out of nowhere senior safety ty Zimmerman emerges and OBLITERATEs the OU reciever.

LHC Bill Snyder family stadium ERUPTS in a frenzy of pure emotion as the ball hits the turf. The Katz have done it! A long awaited shot at the national title! Down on the sideline the man who is responsible for it all, the man with a stadium and highway named in his honor,  calmly orders daniel aams and the offense back on the field to take a knee.
