What in the world are those weirdos talking about now?
I digress . . .
Altimore (who has blocked me

) is one of those people who doesn't understand the nuances of the reports and the reporting periods.
For Fiscal Year '24 (July '23 to June '24) K-State did have $88m in expenses. For calendar year '24 (Jan to Dec) K-State had $103 million in expenses. Also note that during the FY'24 period K-State Athletics was $18.9m in the black. For Calendar Year '24, K-State was only $1m in the black.
KU has taken down most if not all of their financial reports and didn't post their audited financial statement for FY 24, so I am sure it's all fun with numbers. Remember, this is the same school that used "forgiven debt" (Lew's bullshit plan to fund the student rec center) as a operational revenue line item, and that and funding from Strong Hall was the only thing that allowed them to finish in the black that FY.
I'm sure if the stadium project ever gets FOIA'd it'll make Rock Chalk Park financing and contracts look like mere child's play.
