Baylor got the treatment they deserved on that fourth down.

I really want to know what the thought process was on going for it there. Like, getting a FG means ku would have to get two TDs and at least one two point conversion just to tie, now ku just needs two TDs, and could iowa state kick it and no worse than take it to OT, just seems like a bad odds to play

I thing going for it was a no brainer. They actually comfortably converted it too. They just were not given any forward progress.

I guess, I'm not watching it just seemed kicking the FG was the no brainer, after all Baylor was/is going to get the ball again, and even another FG totally ices the game

I just think the odds of converting that 4th down were super high and the reward of basically icing the game was high too, with the worst case scenario being KU having to drive like 90 yards against a strong wind.

Yeah. I think Baylor is very mediocre but the hawks under Lance are fighters, they could have easily rolled over.
