If you take a moment to truly take that picture in you can easily convince yourself that the poor KU football player is following a dirt road to Hell itself.

It's not planted, it just grew there. Anyone with similar experience can tell you that inertia prevents you from cutting down that tree until you develop a tradition of running your equipment around it. A form of laziness not unique to Lawrence. Can attest that road condition is realistic.
