Texas Tech got taken to the wire by Houston Baptist last night. Houston Baptist: the team who snapped UTEP’s multi-season losing streak. Honestly, that final score as a win for TT is probably more embarrassing than any of the losses to Sun Belt teams.

They only have bleachers on one side of the stadium and there's a CVS on the other side of the stadium, like an actual CVS, go look at it on Google maps. This probably should be in your stadium thread.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

It is funny, but the hilarity diminished a bit by our loss.

I do agree with the color guy from the KU game (forgot his name) that the CCU OC was dialing up a lot of things that Lincoln Riley has been using for years now.   Some very well designed plays by CCU.   I see KU still doesn't have the first clue on how to defend the spread QB run/option play.

No, it's fully funny regardless of our result. We lost to a team who has been to 9 straight bowl games, they lost to a coach who is 9-16 all time and two of those 9 wins came in Lawrence wanna see the other 7?

UMASS
@ Idaho
Georgia Southern
Norfolk State
@ UMASS
Troy
Texas State

Half of this man's road wins are against KU. It's unfathomable they lost to these dudes in back to back years, at home!

CCU has built a pretty good program, so it will be interesting to see if they can get some consistency back.

it's tough when you get boat raced at home in the first half by 28 in a revenge game you had circled on your calendar all year

These boys need to be taught the finer art of making jumbotron videos of vehicles smashing through opposing teams' helmets.

I just watched a quick replay and looked at the game stats. Wow, I thought our O-line was bad. KU allowed 5 sacks, 12 tackles for a loss, and their line was constantly collapsing throughout the contest. The final score would lead a person to believe that the game was closer than it actually was.

I'm pretty sure Coastal pulled their starting d-line in the 4th to go in back and decorate the rock.

I mean, it was 28-0 or 28-3 at half

KU kicked a field goal to end the half to make it 28-3

I wasn’t watching but people were LOL’ing the field goal on social media for some reason. Double doink?
If someone would go back and check it’d be greatly appreciated.
