Are you kidding? Beaty was building a monster.  Look at what they did this year despite being coached by an apparent early onset dementia patient.  If Beaty was leading the team last season they would have gone bowling.

There's a rumor that a certain KU assistant coach (not currently on staff) got caught up in a prostitution sting in Johnson County, and one of the officers participating gave a "heads up" notification to Bill Self.  Somehow, this got prosecuted in the small municipality where the sting was conducted so as to conceal it from the public.

tonight’s super bowl coin flip where the 49’rs deferred possession to the 2nd half and the refs not understanding what the chiefs were doing reminded me of the time when ku lost the flip, other team deferred, ku took the wind.  unbelievable moment in cfb lore

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

KU comes in ranked 125th in the country for returning production in 2020.   :sdeek:

LSU and Bama are below them, so they are in good company.

They're going to be absolute dog crap next year... the question is about 2021, Les's 3rd season and historically the time KU fans really start to crap on the HC.

If he doesn't get off to a great start in 2021, the local Orscheln's/farm/outdoor supply stores (there's a lot of them around that hick ass town) won't be able to keep torches on the shelves.

They'll probably have stacks of tickets for the games at the check out counter as well. "Free family four pack with every purchase!"

Is coming into Lawrence off of K-10 still like a farm implement/tractor supply/feed and seed paradise?

Yup, they're everywhere.

Best believe they whip their wheat out and wave it a little as soon as they enter that hayseed corridor.

In its day (1970s) probably more farmy than Manhattan...

Coop Elevator
John Deere dealership
International dealership

Purina Feed and Seed
Farm Credit office

Tom! With the body slam off the top rope!

The people of Lawrence just need to admit besides the 50ish hippies that inhabit their city they are just as  :Carl: as us better smelling KSU fans.
