Oooooo, I love a good discovery dispute. Nothing gets me harder.

Does not appear to be a discovery dispute my friend.

Sounds like a Rule 45 subpoena to me? Granted, I didn't read it super closely.

A notice of intent to request does not a dispute make.  Now when ku objects....then you got one

But under the federal rules you have to serve a notice at least 10 days before serving the subpoena, in order to allow parties to object. I'm not sure why you don't consider this part of discovery.

Wouldn't it be ironic if he hired a KU law school grad to litigate the screwing KU is trying to put on him?

I would hope his counsel graduated from a better school.

Guys, we're rapidly approaching the time of year when the Kansas Board of Regents will once again report each schools 5 year capital improvement plan.

I once again will be looking for the ever evolving timeline of renovations to Kansas Memorial Stadium.   It's been a fascinating 4 or 5 year journey since that project first showed up on the 5 year capital project list.

You have to give props to KU for not hanging a big banner on the side of the stadium this time around and basically just keeping this project to the occasional news article.

It's like 1 billion percent discovery and negative  1 billion a discovery dispute

I got you.

They were all in on Feleipe Franks, with some confirming he'll be at KU, but now they've got grumblings he's going to Arkansas.

Quote from: the phog
Regardless of what happens, Arkansas is worse than us and they play in a much more difficult conference than us. Do the math, Feleipe.

I'll do some for you, Feleipe. But sadly, this stretch would show Arkansas is technically 3 times better than KU  :frown:

KU in their last 125 games, in an easier conference: 21-104 .168 winning percentage
Ark in their last 125 games, in a more difficult conference: 58-67 .464 wining percentage

noticed that Arkansas is the leader for several (QB) grad transfers, wish them well but we’ve seen how picking up those transfers works out

Hell yeah we've seen it, literally 5 days ago with LSU winning a National Championship.

Russell Wilson was also verybad and Jalen Hurts never got OU anywhere this year, either.

Clemson was literally the only team in the playoff with a qb they signed out of high school

If I had pinned my hopes on the byu and notre dame rejects, whose names I can't even remember, I'd be skeptical of transfers too

Yeah, I think they are just sort of falling into the trap of thinking that since past transfers have sucked at their school, transfers aren't worth pursuing. A portion of our fanbase does the same thing with highly ranked recruits.

this is the problem with coaching turnover. While it seems obvious to anyone who has been around the program, someone (head coach maybe?) has to remind these kids to commit their crimes exclusively in the city of lawrence (probably also johnson county but let's not be greedy) but like, the WORST thing you can do as a ku student athlete is to commit a crime in the state of missouri. lessons learned, i suppose.

Les has had 4 coaches leave after only 1 year.
I am sensing cracks in the Les Miles rebuild project, but to be fair the roster he got handed was a train wreck.
I honestly thought Les would have a bigger impact locally, but it has not happened.
