The rumblings are it’s medical related which probably isn’t surprising to anyone who has listened to him talk for more than 5 minutes.

I was listening to the KU game vs ISU a couple weeks ago while in the car (mainly for the Hanni lulz) and at half time they had their little interview with Miles. And no exaggeration I was like "WTF he legit sounds demented or drunk or both".
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

We need a K-State newsperson to try and administer a Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) covertly by asking memory-related questions during Les' next presser.

It would look really bad, but probably be a blessing in disguise. Les is not good.

I hear Charlie Strong is available.

They should just promote that NAIA wunderkind to head coach.

There has to be some other old codger who once had success they could hire in a futile hope of gaining instant credibility. Bowden maybe? Worth a phone call. LHCBS could calm the waters.

Old ass fired coach has to be off the table after Miles.  They'll have to go G5 or assistant.  Maybe they have a shot at Willie Fritz if he is desperate to get out of Tulane and doesn't get a better job.  Coached at Central Missouri so is familiar with some of the recruiting region and talent level that KU would bring in.

This.  You can bet your farm on it.

Craig Boles. Already been FCS but now has "established" cred at the FBS level. Go for it!

Sticking with the retreads scenario though, UCLA or USC future former HC would be a great fit. Probably relatively cheap too, considering just how many HC's they're still paying to not coach.

I think they might make a run at Bo Pelini.

They totally should.  I think I even called for Pelini somewhere earlier in this very thread.

Wyoming is a significantly better job than KU.

They'll promote the NAIA dude and barely pay him because they're so poor.

Use the savings to finally finish paying Beety and look to hire a big name in 2.5 years when they fire NAIA BAMF

Stadium renovations once again delayed 5 years to wait for K-State to complete theirs, so they can do it much bigger and better!

How much more demented can Miles really be now compared to when they thought he was great?  Sunk cost; keep rolling him out there.

A sound financial strategy, but not sure it will get KU better than 3-9 next year.....Good use of arcane accounting terminology, Dax must be proud.

Guys, before the game, he didn’t even know who K-State is.

They like had it, then didn't have it, had it again, but currently don't have it (99 in 10 years), I think.

2 wins next year puts them at 100 L's for 2011-2020. Could be off though.
