Quote from: Shooter Jones on September 23, 2019, 04:24:29 PMWelp, their notice of allegations came through for all the basketball cheating, and guess what, the football investigation/allegation is involved as well. They're so poor they're going to get themselves on probation so they don't have to pay Beatty. Will it get them out of paying Beaty the $3 million they owe him, or will this investigation get them off the hook? Not a dead hooker, but it may be close enough.

Quote from: meow meow on September 23, 2019, 09:19:22 AMwvu looked as dogshit as ku, so to lose that game at home in front of what they are calling their best home crowd in years, isn't a great sign. i think they are banking on having a top 25 recruiting class, which if they can do that after a 2-4 win season, with that stadium, that would be impressive for milesWas the game on ESPN+? I am a subscriber. I tried to look for it Saturday, and had no luck. It did not show up in my queue of games to watch. I went back to watch a replay the next day, and it still is not there.I could just be clueless, or maybe they blacked it out close to Lawrence (I'm in Topeka). Not sure.

It's like they forgot that they were playing legitimately "kind of bad" (as opposed to "awful") football in the second half of last season. vs. TCU - W 27-26vs. ISU - L 3-27@ KSU - L 17-21@ OU - L 40-55vs. Texas - L 17-24But now, Les eeks out a win to Indiana St., loses at home to Coastal, smokes a (to put it charitably) mediocre BC team, and then loses to WVU at home and all of a sudden, "KU football is moving in the right direction"? They may be better than last year, but all of this looks pretty familiar. KU remains "kind of bad."
Alex Delton, former KSU qb, is garbage. TCU routinely overlooks us. Coming from a G5 conference, I imagine they put all their efforts into beating the bigger names to try and prove themselves and they sleep walk with us. Idk if they'll do that after losing last year and SMU kicking their asses, but i like our chances. 11am kickoff @ a team with less than stellar support is a great chance at a win.I know we hate moral victories but last week + BC at least gives the guys confidence that we CAN win. We havent had that in awhile.

They’re not that far from the level of this TCU team, but I think Gary and co are just gonna be too motivated by fear and embarrassment following the SMU loss.

Probably sweating his ass off right now just thinking about it.
