A) probably a good hire for them all things considered
B) already accustomed to getting his ass whipped by us so he checks that box

Man, Jedd Fisch could surely do better than KU.  It sounds like he doesn’t have a huge role with the Rams, so maybe KU could toss in enough to make it happen.  I was thinking they would be looking at someone like Kevin Wilson or Tracy Claeys.  I don’t know how much is Long hyping it up vs what they can really get?

WTF else does he have to do? He couldn't get the UCLA job. He's had a new job every year for the last decade. He's got some made up job title with the Rams now. I think it would be a good hire and a good job for him.

I agree that it wouldn’t be a bad hire for them.  A few years ago I thought Fisch would be a P5 head coach at a decent school, not KU.

As interim head coach, UCLA lost to Kansas State by a final score of 35–17 in the Cactus Bowl in Phoenix, Arizona, on December 26, 2017.

Seems like they have their guy.

They have better cup holders

They have so many cupholders because all of their players have huge lips full of chew and they put their diet coke bottles to spit in there.

Are you hearing a significant reduction?  Thought I heard LSU would pay him only $1.5Million up front instead of $6.5Million over remaining life.

Hell of a lot of rumors and speculation right now that LM is going to be announced as their new coach. Hard to tell what could be reliable sources from what is just squawks squawking.

My favorite part of this is when they have like 3 4*s committed for the next season, start 1-2 and all the players decommit.

KU should stay young with their coaching search.  LM is 65 years old.  I actually thought Beatty showed fantastic improvement this year and deserved at least another 2 years.

Heh...they might have their own version of Old Balls.

It's all but official now.

I suppose Les could have a Jack Hartman to oSu or Dana Altman to Arkansas moment, but odds seem very low.

In 10 days when LittreLL is named the coach at K-State, our coach will go from being 31 years older than KU's, to being 26 years younger.

A 57 year swing.

If KU does land Miles, I can't think of any other programs as decrepit as KU making such an established a hire.

If Miles goes to KU, our only acceptable move is to bring in Bret.

they are having so much fun with this

If it takes Briles to land Les so be it. It’s time people get over being so outraged by everything.
If this is what it takes to win let’s get it done!

No comparison to Sandusky. None

A few gems I've come across this evening.

Quote
He will lead KU back to prominence

Quote
Anyone expecting this to go poorly is an idiot.

Quote
Im even more shocked at those saying he'll fail and likely "only" win 5-6 games each year at KU

Quote
Well you don't hire Les Miles to win 7 games a year ..you hire him to take your program to the cfb playoffs..don't accept "just get us into the Poulan Weed Wacker Bowl
