The thing about ESPN 3 is, they mainly rely on “local broadcasters”, pay them a $50 daily gratuity fee, and barely pay gas mileage. I’m sure that has only gotten worse over the last 5 years.

So it looks like this is a pay version of espn 3 for small schools?

ESPN3 is soon to be dead, if it isn't already
It’s not tho

They are transitioning ESPN3 events to ESPN+, they have been since introducing ESPN+ in the spring. When they made the ESPN Insider move to include + there was a note about 3 but I can't find that release now. We're the only P5 school on 3 all season, although Baylor and ISU aren't on any national platform at all. This game on Saturday will likely be the last P5 game ever exclusively on a free stream.

I just hope they don't black it out in Kansas. If that happens, I guess you just use a friends log in info from out of state?

Still won't help. Your location is tracked by the service provider you're using and the IP associated to show where you're at for the blackout.

My company has multiple VPN's that I use as a work around, but many aren't that lucky.

I don't have a WSJ subscription but I am thinking there could be good nuggets in their article about announced vs actual attendance

Has this thread been posted yet? It makes me extremely sad.
https://247sports.com/college/kansas/Board/103723/Contents/Will-Beaty-be-fired-within-24-hours-if-we-lose-to-Nicholls-St-121015249/

They are such losers, it is kind of fun.

This, so much this.

They'll probably win by like 40, get everyone's hopes up and then proceed to lose every game after.

The actual saddest part about that thread is the people who think Beaty would get fired.  Zero chance.

Yeah you don’t want to set a precedent as a new AD to just start firing people.  You need to give him a good 5 more years before you even consider doing anything.

So KU only scanned 109,521 tickets last year at 7 home games....which puts them at 15,645 per game.

Isn't the required attendance level 15,000 per game to stay at FBS?  :horrorsurprise:

Yes, but it’s not enforced or checked. The NCAA is happy to take the school’s word for it
