They finished dead last in his final year.  No one since has done significantly worse.
He built that program and he can also destroy it

Remember the brawl with the bball team, the guy that tried to kill his teammate by running him over with a truck, the face bleeding and player assault, and all the rape, assault and robbery from Mangino's last 3 months as coach?

That mirage evaporated fast.

I think I read that the numerals are "limestone" (rock chalk) color and it appears that there is some sublimation in the cloth to give the appearance of the stone's texture.

The loss only continued KU’s misery away from Memorial Stadium. It was the Jayhawks’ 38th straight road defeat, which is the second-longest streak all-time according to College Football Reference. KU passed Wichita State, which lost 37 consecutive road games from 1964-71.

Western State’s top position for most consecutive road defeats now appears to be visible on the Kansas horizon. KU needs a win in one of its next six away games to avoid tying the record of 44 straight set by the Mountaineers from 1926-36.

They could break a world record that has lasted 80 years. That's impressive.

They have OU, WVU, and us remaining this year. Their first road game next year is at Ohio.

I'd like those uniforms if they didn't have the tread on them.

Isn't that the school where Nick Nolte coached Shaq and Penny?

The guy modeling them seemed just a little too amped up for KU football. He should have his head down and shoulders slumped a little, occasionally letting out a little "lets go" and clapping.

Why is it assumed OU is above us? If alignment isn't about football anymore but content, it seems to me, we offer more.

They're not winning at Ohio.  Do they have a return game scheduled with Rhode Island any time soon?

The argument being made here can be made pretty rationally. Who were the last two schools moved in realignment? Maryland, KU, OU, and Rutgers; which of these are less like the other?

I will laugh at them all day long if they think football has nothing to do with realignment, because it's completely rough ridin' laughable to me.

I will admit I don't read much about realignment, but it's about football and TV markets, right? That's basically it, and Rutgers/Maryland bring a ton TV set's and Oklahoma is one of the best college football programs of all time. KU is not anything like those 3 in realignment consideration.
