KU had 3rd and 27, then on 4th they punted and ISUclones ripped off a long TD run next play.

Still bullish on them hawx, though! Gonna turn it around pretty soon.

Didn't look too hard, but started with those late 90s baylor teams. Baylor scored 61 points total during conference play in '99. That has to be it. By a mile, really. That is unbelievable. 61 points total.

Granted, the Big 12 only played 8 conference games back then, so we'd have to adjust for that. 7.625 points per game. That is absurd.

I don't think Iowa State is as bad as I thought they were. That Iowa loss isn't looking terrible now and Toledo is a decent team...basically KU is losing to a powerhouse and they managed to keep it close for a quarter. Progress!

When you factor in the relative pace between 2015 and 1999, you have to think it'll be very hard for KU to score fewer than Baylor did in 99.
