You could argue that Texas is a bigger dumpster fire than we are, when adjusted for scale.

This is so true and if you don't believe it then you are the least TSC person I have ever interacted with.

Texas is Rutgers right now, but without a lot of dirty scandals.

I wasn't sure that this was really true, so I did some searching...

31: Consecutive Road Losses by Kansas
Kansas’ struggles on the road continued on Saturday, as the Jayhawks lost 27-14 to Rutgers to drop to 0-3 under new coach David Beaty. The loss against the Scarlet Knights was the 31st consecutive defeat by this program in road games. The 31-game road losing streak is the longest since 1978, surpassing Kansas State and Akron’s 30-game mark. Barring a surprise upset, the Jayhawks are headed for an 0-12 record this season.

Ugh. The level of suckitude is reaching epic proportions. Is their program beyond saving?

Well Purdue is garbage. Washington State too. Wake too.

But because we are so damned good at Hoops we catch more flack than your average Mediocre State U like Missouri or Iowa would if they sucked. We are special at something. That draws attention to us.

ku has a real shot at winning this weekend.  i've watched them play, they're better than isu.  i don't know how, but they are.

ok, maybe saying ku is better than isu is a stretch.  but both teams are really bad and anyone can win this one!  go hawks!

How do you expect players from Lawrence to get up for road games when they're so used to playing at the best setting in sports and suddenly find themselves in some hellhole in Piscataway?  If Kansas is going to win or the road, they need to give their hill and lake the track treatment.  Scoop up the hill and use the dirt to fill in the lake.  They would still have a beautiful setting, but the culture shock would be lessened.

Rhoads will be fired next day if KU wins.  I could see them putting Mangino as interim.  There is no reason ISU should lose at home to KU.
