4-48 is not a less with more scenario.

Yeah, KU got worse when our facilities improved because we fired Mangino and hired a couple losers.  This only strengthens my point that stadiums/facilities are not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.  Most recruits prioritize location and coaching/NFL development over anything else.

KU Memorial Stadium:  Home of the Lazy Raw Sewage River

Doesn't K-State's stadium have port-o-potties?

There's no fixing this:

Or this:

 :Yuck:  :Yuck:  :Yuck:

But we are fixing it with a $1B+ NBAF!

I still don't get the parking lot hate.  We don't need grass when we fill it with crazy fans who love to tailgate and party!

And the sheep lot is becoming this:

Soooo much money!  :kstategrad: :kstategrad: :kstategrad:

It's too bad that stadiums/facilities aren't a big deal. KU would be so relevant if they were. :frown:

Hey guys, don't get all excited now, because after all, facilities don't really matter.

This is what fans of schools getting outpaced on football facility spending $3-$4-$5:$1 say.

The Anderson facility is already 7 years old?  Does anyone even keep a car that long, let alone a football training facility?

Pretty sure that KU uses a four wheeler to bring in additional endzone speakers during pregame and wheel them off before the game starts (when I say "pretty sure" I mean that I saw it happen this year against ISU).  Now if that isn't considered state of the art, I don't know what is...

Do they have anything in the works to update the Anderson complex?

I will never get sick of beems posting old pics of our stadium vs his "newly renovated" stadium without the track.  That's just straight out of the "Trolling 101 book for dummies".

You have to love guys like Beems who swear facilities don't matter in football recruiting and then run to the hoops boards to celebrate the history and importance of AFH in basketball.

The 2010 aerial view of BSFS will be his go-to picture 10 years from now.  Pretty great.

I agree that facilities may be the T&A of the recruiting process, but many (if not most) 17-year-old boys make many decisions on the basis of T&A. You also have to realize that these kids know this is where they will spend a great deal of time over the next five years and a cruise ship has a lot more appeal than the Maginot Line.
