phog.net reporting that the $110M is only for phase 1. apparently they don't want to go overboard and fix too many things at once.

I also hope they don't half-ass this $110m like they have with their football training facility, jumbotron, and Rock Chalk Park. They work so hard to get shiny new things to "catch-up" and by the time it is finished they are behind again.

my fav? how they now want their stadium surrounded with parking lots, after clinging to the "BSFS is just a hole in the ground between two parking lots" talking point, they want to be just like us. now they're going to do that and then we're going to get in with the green space times and make our parking lots grass and be so much more big time than them and wow. eff we're elite.

If I were KU, I'd plant $100 million worth of trees and shrubbery around the stadium. Then I'd use the other $10 million to put a Bill Self statue on top of the hill. LHC Bill Snyder gets a highway named after him, and Bill Self gets a hill named after him. Hill Self.

ku has just been waiting for this moment. home run hire, have probably the best recruiting tandem for texas kids. the walk on program is gonna raid the fertile western kansas recruiting territory. time to show the conference and the nation that ku plays for keeps and history awaits.

Regardless of what happened here, you can bet the KU coaches are working around the clock and will continue to do so up until signing day. And it's likely they already had a couple back-up plans in place to help offset these losses.

can confirm. During 7 on 7 games (in summer) that coaches are not allowed to be at, much less coaching, Weir was on the sideline full-on directing plays. Our coach - who I think is actually better - didn't respect him.
