I heard a post game interview with HCIW Bowen, and he sounds a lot like Kermit the Frog....... As a player it would be awfully hard to get "jacked up" to play the game by Kermit. IMO

I'm genuinely curious as to why K-State has had so much trouble raising endowment funds. It's very curious. Is there something fishy going on or do K-State alumni lack the means to contribute? Does the average K-State grad give less or do they just not have as much to give? Or is someone stealing? What in the world is going on here? Their endowment is less than 1/4 of the KU endowment...that seems very peculiar.

I'm starting to think, as Kansas becomes a bible-gun idiocracy, that K-State is emerging as the de facto flagship school of the state. It's almost like KU needs to be taken private so it can officially cater to the eastern quarter and out-of-state kids -- maybe try to lure two smart people to our land for every one our current regime scares away.

Also, State can put all the dressing it wants on the stadium, but it's still just a hole in a parking lot on a windy plain. But I do give them credit for making something, anyway, out of pretty much nothing. KU, on the other hand, has done a nice job of making nothing out of something.
