Talked to a KU grad today and he had some pretty good gems about the future of KU football. He said he hopes the Harbaugh rumor is true, but does not think it will happen. He thinks Zulu and BGL are going to "hit this next football HC hire out of the park." He said MBB is set with massa and now they can focus on building the football program. I brought up the fact that Memorial is a dump, and he seemed oblivious to this. He said Memorial isn't that bad, its just kinda old and their other old sporting facility (AFH) is just fine. He thinks Memorial is one of the best locations for college football, but it is kind of small. Says that is part of the appeal. He thinks the next hire will be a guy like Self who will stay at KU for a long time and build a great program.
Not a lot of great info, but it is funny to see how delusional they really are.
