ku's campus looks much nicer from a distance and aerial shots but kstates is a little nicer if you are actually on the ground walking around. nobody that went to both schools would ever debate either of those things.

Good job pulling a picture of K-State off the CIS website out of context.  Since Durland (1976) is included in this picture but not Rathbone (1982) we can conclude that Beems grabbed a 30 year old picture to suggest that K-State has an out of date looking campus.  GJ 

On a side note, isn't it great to have such a dynamic and growing campus, such that you can easily identify when a picture was taken relative to the new and exciting additions featured or missing?

Rathbone is there, but Hale isn't, the photo probably more like 20 years, but your point still stands.

Alright, now i'm supper obsessed with this.  So, no Hale, pic taken before 1997.  Can some familiar cats tell me if that looks like the Beech Art Museum in the upper right?  I can't tell, its grainy. if so, 1996, we have ourselves and exact match, forensikats.

Completely unrelated to campus smack, but this aerial made we think back fondly to the time when I worked in Bushnell Hall.  There was a unisex bathroom with multiple stalls on the first floor and you had to put a card on the door to indicate what sex could come in.
