Spring game attendance. I wasn't able to attend. What was the estimated attendance for it?

I thought there were a little bit more than last year and 3 years ago. Maybe a little less than CW's first spring game. I'd guess 1,000-1,200 people. I have a hard time guessing such things.

Hey guys, you know when people take pictures, like aerial shots.   Then they take this thing called Photoshop, and they make things really pop.  Like Red Roofs . . . much brighter than they really are.  Limestone . . . suddenly glowing.  Grass and Foliage . . . green as an Irish Spring.

Latest intelligence from phog.net confirms what I personally observed myself about a year ago.   ku-lawerence campus is going (dare I say it) down hill. 

Memorial Stadium- reconfirmed . . . butt ugly.

Landscaping on campus-mundane to say the least.

After further inspection of the pictures, I can confirm kstate campus is much nicer and more interesting looking than ku's.

The flora along Jayhawk Blvd is pretty fantastic in the springtime    I admit that it is possible that my several trips through KSU's campus have been along less favorable arcs.  In the end, we all think our babies are the most adorable. I do maintain, however, that there is an eternal spring of angst that flows from 1864, when some clever politicians swindled you out of the privilege of converting the defunct campus of Bluemont College into the seat of the state University.  Let us forever be grateful that neither of us suffered the same fate as the third player in that sweepstakes - Emporia.
