Yeah I was getting worried the way he was laying there, glad he got up. That kid is a hell of a player he made that play all on his own. Sad that ku couldn't really come close to punching it in once he went out with an injury. They are so bad on offense it looks like the only chance they have of moving the ball is throwing a screen to Pierson and hoping he can break five tackles.

so pierson got concussed because ku is so low grade that they have a hard track 2 feet from the OOB line. i know they have no money, but are they seriously that unconcerned about player safety? i've been seeing those long jump tracks on the sidelines for years and wondering how long it would take (and how many times in the past) for someone to hurt themselves on it. if i was pierson i would definitely consult a lawyer.
