KU's Qb had 16 yards passing Saturday   :sdeek:

Also had -19 rushing for a net....wait for it....-3 total yards.    :sdeek: :sdeek: :sdeek: :sdeek: :sdeek: :sdeek: :sdeek: :sdeek: :sdeek:

How is that even possible?  WTF?????????????????????? :Yikes:

Most of them are blaming the refs

I watched a little of their game.  Their QB looks like that dopey hick from Stripes that "likes fast cars and fast women."

He plays football worse than that guy, however

Good news guys, hawk fans haven't let this latest slip up get them down.  The football analysts over at the phog have crunched the numbers, and Baylor looks very beatable away from home.  Also they played Baylor pretty close the last few years!

Put those red, blue and yellow farms on ku to win outright.

I agree, but KU wouldn't be able to compete at the DII level right now.

I had an argument with a KU fan over who had the better punter between Iowa State and Kansas.

Iowa State has been selling out games despite being terrible this year.  You can't even buy a hillside ticket for next week's game unless you go to the secondary market.  This is an interesting article about it:

http://amestrib.com/sections/sports/isu-cyclones/football-how-isu-was-able-bring-fans-during-national-attendance-decline

For many, it's too difficult to get to Iowa City for a game, so they start going to Iowa State games, just to have something to do. Weird fan base/population.

The weirdest

They are absolutely weird, but Spracne just made that crap up. They go to games because ISU fans are happy with the direction of their program and the tickets are dirt cheap. It has nothing to do with Iowa City, lol. How horrible is your program when you have to make horrible rationalizations as to why ISU fans are better than yours.

Didn't that guy who clowned Bill Self at Hilton basically say he was an ISU fan because Iowa City was too far to get to?  something like that maybe, or did I imagine that...

In fairness that was like 50 years ago when Melvin couldn't get to Iowa City, they only had county roads in Iowa back then.

excerpt:

AMES, Iowa - At 23-years-old, Mel Weatherwax was an avid college football fan, so avid that watching televised games wasn’t enough.  He wanted to see the action live, so he weighed his options.  As a full-time employee with United Parcel Service (UPS), multiple trips to Iowa City were too taxing.  Instead, he chose the convenience of a short trip to Ames.  It was that year, in 1973, that Mel attended his first Iowa State football game with a friend.  And after one game, he was hooked.

“When I was 23 I decided it was too difficult to go to Iowa City, so a friend of mine and I decided to go to Iowa State games,” Mel said.  “I started going in 1973 and immediately felt like we had much more in common with ISU fans.”

tough weekend for ku's vastly improved special teams.  OU really gave it to them.

blocked punt for safety, missed PAT, blocked PAT, returned PAT

they suck but hey well we all know what they say, eh folks? eh?  can't spell KU SUCKS without spelling it or saying it out loud.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Refs had dollar signs in their eyes.  About as almost of a win as you could ask for.
