It's time to have a serious discussion about KU hitting 100 losses in a decade, which would be an amazing achievement.  We also need to come up with a catchy title to #brand this pursuit.

If KU goes winless next year, we have it.

If KU wins 5 or fewer games over the next two seasons, we have it.

History awaits.
When Zulu was hired, there were 120 teams in D1 football.  As of today, 119 have qualified for a bowl game.
Not his fault that the bowl draw committee selects teams based on the AD's last name in alphabetical order

Yuck it up, yucksters. Another decade after that and there will be no football.

This would (will) be horrible for ku. Right now they compete against like 4 schools that try hard in basketball... Now imagine all the football schools putting their money and focus on basketball, lil'ol'ku will be left in the dust  :frown:

Yes, this. Ever since bball was invented KU has been taking advantage of the fact FB is the money sport and thus what almost every major school has been chasing except for them. Just look at Wichita State who has had more recent success than any other team in Kansas.

KU needs FB to stay the main sport.

Well maybe if you had a law school you'd realize how illogical that sounds and, inter alia, is. Sorry for murdering ur face. Nothing personal.

Maybe if KU had a decent agronomy program, you'd understand that football programs don't grow by themselves.  If KU had any evapotranspiration program at all, you'd understand that sometimes success is as fleeting as vapor.  No matter how you phrase it, KU looks pretty sissy for hoping football goes away.

A Tale of Two Programs

An interesting plot (starting in 1992), where a win against a P5 team gets you +1, a loss -1, and tie 0.  It's a good way to look at streaks within a program. For example, you can see the most productive years for KSU were between 1994 and 2001 and plateaued a bit since then.   What's really remarkable is KU's amazing skid since the start of 2009.

Holy crap that is a crazy graph

I'll let Chingon post it, but from Winsepdia at least, Nubbs besides few WTF years of 2002 (7-7 lol), 2004 (5-6), 2007 (5-7), 2015 (6-7), and this year (4-8) are like the patron saint of going 9 or 10 and 4. But the point would be fun, since Solich was 12-1 in 99, they have had only 1 11 win season, had 10 game win seasons 5 times, 9 game win seasons 6 times.

The level of consistency there at the end of the chart is amaze

Two of the main primary care doctors I've had were both K-State fans and went to KU only for med school.  The only people I ever hear brag about KU having a med school didn't ever actually go to their Med school... :dunno:

We saved old balls, and he saved ksu, so in a way, we saved ksu. You're welcome.

KU has a med/law school so farm kids from Kansas can learn that trade and then return to their home town and set up on the square, providing those services.  It is vital to our small farming communities.

Not sure what doctor(s) you've been going to...but I haven't had any doctors probing my butthole. Let alone having them do it for decades. You might want to talk to a different kind of doctor and point on a doll where they've been touching you.
