Saw this stat on Twitter.

Record vs. Power 5 since 2010

North Dakota State - 4-0
University of Kansas - 4-57

I know one of those NDSU wins is against us and one against UK, but wow!  Do you think NDSU could get to 5 in 57 more chances?

Oh great, you're one of those dorks from the Scout board who thinks it's fun to call them UK, aren't you? Not here, my friend. On this board, we TSC. :tsc:

It's the whistle that blows on campus isn't it? That thing is classic KU.

I don't care what it is, it's an annoying sound effect.  Very high schoolish.  But then, so is our team, so maybe it fits.  I can envision crowds of <10,000 on cold days later this year hear Gump's whistle on 3rd downs and mutter, "yeah, whatever," and take another swig from their flask.

I think you missed the point...4 wins in 4 games for NDSU versus 4 wins in 61 games for UK, KU, Kansas, Jayhawks, etc.

i think it's funny that uk grads think they're the flagship university while it's been proven that we're both flagships and share the status 50/50

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Listened to the Rusillo and Kanell podcast yesterday on ESPN.  They talked about the worst P5 coaching jobs.  Todd McShay said it was definitely Kansas and that Mangino should be in the HOF for taking that team to the Orange Bowl.  Rusillo commented that they didn't deserve to be in the Orange Bowl that year.  Kanell mentioned another school and McShay said "Have you ever been to Lawrence?" but was cut off before he could talk about how bad Lawrence is.

24-21 Jayhawks.
Memphis lost an NFL caliber QB last year.  Left with a mid-major talent roster, comparable to KU.
Phog.net reacts on Sunday predicting a 5-8 win season and begins discussing Cozart's NFL potential.

Did not watch the first few games, but KU players were stretching on the field during the game? That is an outrageous mistake by the coaching staff! :curse:

i think his point was the players thought they could roll out of bed and win, which is hilarious given the circumstances

It is a very east coast elitist thing to bag on Lawrence.  It is a modest sized Kansas farm town on an Interstate.  What do they expect?

This is my favorite thread on the internet.

I've attended 3 K-State vs KU football games in Lawrence: 1 with Gill, 1 with Chuck, and last year fighting the ice with Bowen. They can keep their mound of dirt with the zika nest up top and their WWII pillbox of a stadium. That place is a complete dump, their's no parking, the tailgating atmosphere takes place in a bunch of run down houses and backyards, and Mass street, while decent, is not what they have talked it up to be.

I miss Bob Davis though - "What in the world!?"

Mrs Wacky's bro said I'd need the cable setup for the KU game today if he was going to help us move. I told him be careful what you ask for. I already have it setup in 3 rooms.
