Just met two young KU football players at BWW...

And I have to say, they were some of the nicest, classiest, young men I've met in a long time.  They came in at the very end of the chumps game.  Both were from texas and both freshman on the field.  One said he played linebacker and is number 17 and plays on special teams,...the other one said he was number 96 and starts at defensive tackle.  Number 17 interestingly enough went to Deion's prime prep academy and said he was Muiday's cousin.  I talked with them about Deion being at the chump's game, and what prime prep was like and how many football helmets they have and just a bunch of other bs.  I haven't even looked up their names yet, but these young men were a blast to talk to and I told them as I was leaving that it's cool and all that they are D-1 football players, but it's their attitudes and positive outlooks that make them impressive, and to not ever change that and to stay that way.

Asking for others, of course. What is BWW?

How would you describe it using Applebee's as a reference point?

Nope, how I would describe BWW to someone who hadn't heard of it before.

I think in the context in which one says wildcat that its a 3 syllable word, so they F'd up their haiku.

Maybe this is a Midwest pronunciation thing?  Do you guys pronounce it wa?-juld k??t or wa?ld k??t?   I guess if I'm saying wild by itself or in a chant its the later.  But if I'm just hanging out, shooting the breeze, I think I generally pronounce it the former.

Actually I knew that.  My post was a sarcastic remark to poke fun at him picking up the mantle of the worst team in the country by far.   ;)

There is no incentive to expand footprint as it stands now.  There is opportunity to grow conference revenue if we get a B12 Network and start expanding into new states. However, KU and UT likely lose money in that situation

this is how the phog sees the conference  ........I can't find one thread of truth in those 3 sentences......

it's super lol ish that they view themselves in the same situation as Texas ......... KU having never beat Texas in football (like ever) is the only sentence that can be spoken about both schools.....
