Sounds like Touche at 103rd and Metcalf would be perfect.

(What part of Overland Park are we talking about here? The dang thing runs from WyCo to 191st Street.)

when i think of bars in OP, nothing gets my blood pumping like the thought of Fuel American Made Bar & Grill does.  Chugsville USA.  sure touche is nice but it almost has too much of a lenexa feel to it.  dunno.  can't really go wrong with Dick Clark's American Bandstand either.

UPDATE: "Fox and Hound" is a really lame bar.  Pool tables and stuff, but there was like nobody there.

There are no "good" bars in Overland Park unless you're going to watch a sporting event or you're a cougar (see: Touche).

Given this and your evident desire to not go to a place where "good" bars are, the Fuel/Kanza Hall/etc. consortium may have been worth visiting just for the  :sdeek: factor.
