Rome is an ass... but he's a very successful ass. He's the Limbaugh of sports radio so it's great that he spent the majority of his opening segment on Frank and the Cats. Good for the program.

I've been trying to listen to Rome for a decade or more. I'll concede so far as to say there are some good interviews, but his voice, cadence, awkward pauses and the production of his show are about the most irritating thing I could subject myself to for three hours everyday. I used to find myself preferring to listen to Sean Hannity instead of Rome... . I've also probably never listened long enough to not be alienated by his inside jokes. I don't know about his sense of humor... not sure I've ever heard him make a joke other than the inside variety. I've heard him tell his listeners that something he heard was funny so they should think it's funny too, but I honestly wouldn't call him very witty.

He's an insanely popular and successful sports personality though and I don't begrudge him that and I like it that he has a man-crush on Frank Martin and loves the JunkYarkCatz.
