Fact: you black out because you have so much alcohol in you that your body has to shut down certain functions to keep you alive.
I only had one time that I didn't remember how I got home. And I made myself violently ill quite a few times - like so sick that I can't get out of bed except to puke for the entire next day.
i black out all the time

I've blacked out twice. Both times I drank a lot of tequila. I've drank more when not drinking tequila, and I didn't black out. Maybe it's how my body metabolizes tequila? I don't know.
If you've never blacked out then you've never drank very much, I just want to clarify that before a bunch of dumbasses come out of the woodwork proud of the fact that they've never blacked out.
Have passed out, but never blacked out and kept going. I am probably genetically predisposed to being a superior drinker than most. Also, never get hung over.Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk 2
