ok. i just "googled". sounds like i might just be genetically predisposed to this type of stuff. like some people are good at basketball and other people are programmed to be really good spellers and stuff of that nature. oh well at least it isn't webbed toes or something i guess.

Was just going to say this.  Bubs once told me that he can't drink anymore than 3 beers without blacking out.  That was several years ago though, so my it's subsided.

It doesn't matter, but in terms of blacking out, that is definitely pud.

I've never blacked out on occasions where beer is the only thing I drink.  It's always rum, vodka, tequila or whiskey that do me in.  It hasn't happened in quite some time though.  Last time I blacked out was while tailgating at the 2012 Miami game.  Started pounding screwdrivers that were 50% vodka at 6:30 AM on an empty stomach (buddy said the food he was grilling would be ready by 7:30 but it wasn't done until 9 :shakesfist:).

While blacked out, I apparently pissed on the side of my roommate's truck right in front of his girlfriend and then puked a little on my shirt.   Roommates changed me into a K-State hoody that was sitting in the truck and it was one size too small for me.  I also applied sunscreen to my face and neck.  My friends all got sunburned after mocking me while I drunkenly applied sunscreen, joke was on them.  There's about a 90 minute span where I don't remember a rough ridin' thing, but my brain was pretty boss.  As soon as the Qatz lined up for kickoff, it turned back on.  I clearly remember the entire game.  Don't remember the teams taking the field or the coin toss, but my brain recognized kickoff and knew the shenanigans needed to stop.  One of the most perplexing moments of my life occurred during the second quarter when I noticed I was wearing a hoody.  Spent a good 10 minutes thinking hard about when I put on a hoody before finally asking my roommates why I was wearing one.

Anyways, TL;DR moral of the story is that blacking out leads to fun experiences and lasting memories and you should do it more.

I've read a lot of books on this very topic daris.  the main takeaway I get is that it's not a sign of a problem or anything - your brain is a muscle and you need to exercise it I guess

I have to drink like 20 beers to blackout.  But if whiskey is involved crap gets real.  Haven't had a good blackout for awhile, probably since graduation. Perhaps today is a good day, starting with pool, then golf, then

If I have more than 3 Tank 7's there is a 97% chance I will black out.
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

My first day of getting drunk I typically remember everything, but I remember less and less with each successive day of drinking. First day? 15 drinks and I can recall entire conversations. Fourth day of 8+ drinks? I'll know what city I was in and that's about it.

He said maybe you should slow down on the bottle a little
