I'd bet if you guys dug deep enough in your closets you'd find one of those radios/flashlights with a crank handle you're supposed to put in you car for when you get stranded in a blizzard.

After the infamous ice storm that hit MHK in 2007, I have a flashlight or battery lantern  in every room in the house (especially bathrooms). Recently reviewed my emergency plan and am strongly considering adding a bottle of Scotch to be placed next to each flashlight/lantern. No ice needed.
