Why would I "have to live within 500 miles of KC"? Do I have some kind of medical condition that insists I be around hayseeds? I don't understand.

Best thing in a 8 state territory.Point proven.Well, respond to his question then.8 States is probably high, but I'd live in KC before most cities. Denver is cost prohibitive to get out of the smog (would kill a drifter to have enough cash to buy a NICE place in Boulder or Golden). As a professional, I require two things: 1. Near a high traffic airport (KCI barely meets this, any smaller and it would not). 2. Housing costs that are reasonable to allow for ownership of a single family dwelling of over 2500 square feet (e.g. SF does not fit this criteria for me). Thanks for further proving my point. This isn't about the quality of the city (KC is not a great city), it's about the snobby level. Which is off the charts.KC needs more confidence (aka dick flopping) like this. It's no world city but I'd take it over it's peers. What's KC got to dick flop about? It's tiny airport? It's small downtown? It's irrelevant (minus soccer) sports teams?Don't go all Ben on us...it's okay. Your city is cool too.

Kind of quaint but whatever. I just don't understand people who act like it's some kind of huge important city.
chicago people sound much snobbier ITT FWIW IMO.
Snobby and dumb aren't the same thing DU12.
KC is a pretty nice place to live, IF YOU LIKE LIVING IN THE BEST OF THE WORST, THAT IS.
saying KC is the best city in 500 miles is kind of dumb too. They are all pretty much the same.KC, Des Moines, OKC, Omaha, Little Rock, St. Louis etc are all pretty rough ridin' similar.
I like St. Louis.
ITT a bunch of KC homers being giant KC homers.Try leaving your Kansas bubble for a while so you can look back at this and laugh at your dumb opinions.
